I thought about writing this blog in Spanish again but then I realized it’s harder for all parties if I do that so the native tongue it is! I have definitely not been as vigilant as I’d like to be in keeping up with studying Spanish since my classes ended three weeks ago. I had an idea of starting a study group in which we’d get together for a call in Spanish every week or two to speak Spanish - perhaps we could discuss an article, a book or a tv show in Spanish. Como escribi en mi ultimo blog, tal vez tratare escribir mi proximo blog en espanol. Para aprender mas y mejorar mi espanol, tengo que practicar mucho y por eso voy a escribir este blog en espanol porque es un ejercisio bastante deficil para mi. Lo siento si tu no puedes leer espanol pero sugerio que uses Google Translate para entender lo que estoy escribiendo. Tambien no se como hacer acentos y tildas en el teclado...lo siento si tu eres la reina de la gramatica!   Ginny y yo disfrutamos nuestro tiempo en Todos Santos donde nos quedamos por casi un mes. Todos Santos es un pueblo magico con muchos estranjeros, restaurantes buenos y un clima agradable. En comparacion a nuestro viaje a Mexico el ano pasado, Todos Santos no parace como el Mexico autentico - por lo menos, no tiene la misma cultura como otros partes de Mexico - pero todovia nos gusta el pueblo. After nearly four months in New Zealand, we flew back to the US on March 30th. It was the day that lasted FOREVER! Unlike when you fly to New Zealand and lose an entire day, the return trip is like time travel as you typically arrive back in the US before taking off in New Zealand. ‘Wait a minute, Doc. Are you telling me you built a Time Machine out of a DeLorean?’ It was nice to get back to the US and our global entry cards enabled us to breeze through immigration in less than a minute! Loved this sign on the bathroom of a cafe in Atwater Village, Los Angeles Upon arriving in LA, we stayed at my aunt Nina’s and her fiance Mark’s house who were actually getting married the next day! It was a second marriage for both of them so they decided to keep it fairly low key and have a courthouse wedding up in Santa Barbara.
